About TRUST

ROTARY CLUB OF VAPI – a Member Club of Rotary International devoted to social work; has established in 1985 an Educational Trust named ‘ROTARY FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND LEARNING’ Popularly known as ‘ROFEL’ to provide educational facilities in the region at all levels. In the initial years, the trust organized and awarded scholarships to local students to enable them to study outside Vapi in various disciplines, ranging from engineering and medicine to business administration, arts and commerce.

Rtn. Rajju Shroff
  • Chairman, ROFEL Trust

Rtn. Rajju D. Shroff, Chairman & MD, UPL Ltd. He was awarded Padma Bhushan by the President of India in year 2021. He was Founder-President of Vapi Industries Association and Association of Small and Medium Chemical Manufacturers. He was on the Board of GIDC and Technology Development Board, and an advisor in the Department of Science & Technology.
He was the Chairman of Vapi Waste & Effluent Management Company Limited and is the Chairman of Bharuch Enviro Infrastructure Limited. He was bequeathed with the highest award, President’s Gold Shield for indigenous technology development.

Rtn. Ashis Roy
  • Secretary Trustee, ROFEL Trust

Mr. Ashis Roy is the Director of M/s Guardian Plasticote Ltd., one of the largest packaging companies in India. It has collaboration with American National Can, USA, and supplies packaging material to many MNCs like P&G, HUL, ITC, Wipro, and others.
Mr. Roy is the former Governing body member of Indian Institute of Packaging, ex-Committee member of VIA and past District Governor of Rotary International. He has served at various national and international positions in the Rotary International.

Mr. Bharat Patel is the Managing Director of Filter Machines (P) Ltd., one of the biggest players in the industry. An Electrical Engineer from prestigious VJTI, Mumbai. He has served Rotary in many capacities from Secretary, President to Board of Director.
He was the Chairman of Vapi Waste & Effluent Management Company Limited and is the Chairman of Bharuch Enviro Infrastructure Limited. He was bequeathed with the highest award, President’s Gold Shield for indigenous technology development.

Rtn. Ujawal Kakaria

Mr. Ujjwal Kakaria is a partner in Kakaria & Associates, Director in Kakaria Housing & Infrastructure Ltd., and Kakaria Financial Services Ltd. A double graduate in commerce and law, he is a FCA and the former President of Rotary Club of Vapi. He is also an advisor to a number of institutes and trusts.

Rtn. Praful Dewani

Mr. Praful Dewani is a Civil Engineer involved in construction business and a member of Engineers association. He is a past president of Rotary Clubof Vapi.
He is also actively involved in service projects in Dang and an avid fan of music and art. He is a member of Kala Nidhi, Vapi and Spandan. He has been actively engaged in organising blood donation camps.

Rtn. Dipak Shah

Mr. Dipak Shah is a leading entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical business in Vapi and owner of Deep Medical. He did his M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from L.M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad. He is an active Rotarian and past president of Rotary Club of Vapi. He is also the major Donor and Trustee of Manovikas Charitable Trust (a trust for mentally challenged children).
He has been an active member of the All India Chemist and Druggists Association - having over 750000 members and is currently the Chairman of South Gujarat chapter and Additional Secretary, Gujarat and Druggists & Executive India Chemist Association.

Mr. Rakesh Patwari is a Commerce graduate involved in the business of industrial packaging paper materials. He is a member of Rotary Club of Vapi since 2005 and is involved in various welfare projects of social causes.
